The UBC is the result of Jim Graden's history and years of study in the integration of nutrition and fitness training. His passion is to change people's lives with this course by teaching a fun, easy to understand method to achieve one's fitness goals. A method that once you know it, you know it for life.

Jim Graden is also the developer of Cardio Karate, the most popular martial arts fitness program in the country. The NAPMA (National Association of Professional Martial Artists) Cardio Karate certification tour was the largest of its kind. Jim has certified over 6,000 fitness instructors to teach cardio karate.

Jim has co-hosted a nationally distributed fitness video, "Kickboxing for Fun and Fitness" which has received outstanding reviews from the fitness community, as well as his Kickboxing Workout DVD series. He also hosted the NAPMA Cardio Karate Video series, a monthly video that was distributed to over 2,000 subscribers worldwide, for over five years.

Jim is a five time member of the World Champion United States Karate team that won team world titles in London, England in 1985 and Munich, Germany in 1989. Jim Graden won the International Karate League World Heavyweight Kickboxing title in Palermo, Sicily in 1991. Jim has also been the feature cover story in numerous national Martial Arts publications including Black Belt Magazine and Martial Arts Professional Magazine.

Mr. Graden is a certified fitness instructor with the International Sports and Science Association. He is also a certified martial arts instructor with the American Council on Martial Arts (ACMA) out of the Coopers Institute for Aerobic Research Center in Dallas, TX.

A master martial arts and fitness instructor, Jim has developed the Ultimate Body Challenge which combines fitness kickboxing, resistance training, flexibility and sound nutrition into a 10 week course and contest. He also developed the Guaranteed Weight Loss Course for Legacy for Life, a company who's focus is fitness, nutrition and anti-aging. Along with his wife, Mindy Graden, Jim created the UBC for Kids program, a 6 week course that trains and educates children (and their parents) on the importance of exercise and good nutrition.

Mr. Graden was the cofounder of the Project Action Foundation, which was in 3,000 facilities nationwide. The Project Action Foundation was a national awards winning children's charity that helped at risk children get involved in physical and cultural arts programs. They won the 1997 Florida Governor's Award presented by the late Lawton Chiles.

Jim Graden has received the Liftetime Achievement Award from the Joe Lewis Fighting System and was recently inducted into the Action Martial Arts Hall of Fame being recognized as "Innovator of the Year".
